Plant Sale, May 22nd 2010.
As part of the 'Festival of Flowers', the plant sale took place in the Market Place in glorious weather. In addition to the usual sale of plants, raffle tickets were sold, with the prize being 3 tomato plants with tomatoes! The sale was a great success, raising a total of £448, half of which goes to 'Henley in Bloom' and half to our Association funds. Thanks to everyone who donated plants, helped on the day or made a purchase.
The Allotment Association's entry in the 'Plants on the Move' event - a colourful display of allotment grown fruits, vegetables and flowers - was cleverly put together by Doug Richards.
